GTA 6 Vehicles — Every Confirmed Car, Bike, Boat and Aircraft
Source transparency: All information on GTA 6 Vault is sourced from Rockstar's official trailers, press releases, and Take-Two investor communications. Sections that go beyond confirmed facts are clearly labelled as our own analysis.
A Note on Sources
Everything in this article is drawn from Rockstar's two official GTA 6 trailers (Trailer 1: December 2023, Trailer 2: May 2024) and official press materials. Vehicle names in GTA 6 have not yet been officially announced — where relevant we describe what is visible on screen rather than invent names. Leaks and third-party reports are excluded.
Why Vehicles Matter More in GTA 6
The State of Leonida is geographically diverse in a way no previous GTA map has been — Vice City's urban grid, open coastal highways, dense swamplands, Florida Keys-style island chains, and rural countryside are all visible in official trailer footage. That variety has a direct implication for vehicles: where GTA 5's map rewarded a narrow set of fast cars, Leonida's terrain looks built for a wider spread of vehicle types.
Rockstar's trailers appear to reflect this deliberately. Within roughly four minutes of combined official footage, land vehicles, motorcycles, boats, aircraft, and off-road machines are all represented. The breadth on screen is not incidental.
Land Vehicles
Sports Cars and Performance Vehicles
Multiple high-performance sports cars appear across both trailers. These include low-slung two-door coupés in Vice City street and highway sequences, a convertible sports car driven by Lucia, and what appears to be a rear-engine sports car in at least one scene. The visual detail on these vehicles — particularly paint reflections in Vice City's neon-lit streets — is a step up from GTA 5.
Muscle Cars
Classic American muscle cars are visible in several Trailer 2 scenes, consistent with the Florida setting and the game's contemporary-but-Americana aesthetic. At least one heavy-bodied muscle car is shown in motion on a Vice City street.
SUVs and Pickup Trucks
Large SUVs and pickup trucks appear throughout both trailers, both as civilian traffic and in sequences involving Jason and Lucia. One sequence shows a truck moving through what appears to be a rural Leonida area, consistent with the Keys or countryside regions visible elsewhere. Given the terrain variety of Leonida, trucks and SUVs appear to be a practical vehicle class in this map rather than a novelty.
Sedans, Hatchbacks, and Everyday Civilian Traffic
The city traffic visible in Vice City sequences includes a wide range of ordinary civilian vehicles — saloons, hatchbacks, and compact cars that fill out the street grid. The volume and visual variety of traffic in the trailer footage suggests a denser, more detailed city environment than GTA 5's Los Santos.
Lorries and Semi-Trucks
At least one articulated lorry (semi-truck with trailer) is visible in official footage. Large commercial vehicles were present in GTA 5 and appear to return in GTA 6 — consistent with Leonida's highway network visible in both trailers.
Monster Truck
A large monster truck is briefly visible in Trailer 1. This class of vehicle existed in GTA 5 and its presence in official footage confirms Rockstar intends it to return. Given the rural and off-road terrain visible across Leonida, monster trucks may have a more natural habitat in GTA 6 than in Los Santos.
Police and Emergency Vehicles
Law enforcement vehicles are visible in multiple trailer sequences, consistent with Rockstar's confirmed overhaul of the wanted and police system in GTA 6. Police cruisers are shown in pursuit sequences. Emergency vehicles including what appears to be a fire truck are also visible in city scenes. These vehicle types are expected in any GTA title, but their visual design reflects the contemporary, Florida-inspired aesthetic of the game.
Motorcycles
Motorcycles appear in both trailers. At least one cruiser-style motorcycle and what appears to be a standard road bike are visible. Motorcycles are a staple of GTA's vehicle roster and their presence in official footage confirms they return in GTA 6. The coastal and highway stretches of Leonida visible in trailers appear well suited to high-speed motorcycle travel.
Boats and Water Vehicles
Given that GTA 6 is set in a Florida-inspired state with Vice City's coastline, the Florida Keys, and swampland waterways all confirmed in official footage, water vehicles are not just present — they appear to be a core part of how Leonida is navigated.
Speedboats
Multiple speedboats appear in official trailer footage, shown moving at speed across open coastal water. The water rendering — surface detail, spray, and wake effects — visible in the trailers represents a clear visual upgrade over GTA 5.
Jet Skis
Jet skis are visible in Trailer 2, consistent with the Vice City beach and coastal sequences. Personal watercraft of this type were present in GTA 5 and their appearance in official footage confirms their return.
Airboats
Flat-bottomed airboats — the propeller-driven vessels used to traverse shallow swamps and marshland — are visible in swampland sequences. This vehicle type was not present in GTA 5 and its inclusion is a direct consequence of Leonida's Florida-inspired geography. Airboats are purpose-built for shallow, vegetation-heavy waterways of exactly the kind visible in Trailer 1's swamp scenes.
Other Watercraft
Additional boat types are visible in the background of several coastal shots, including what appears to be larger vessels in Vice City's harbour areas. The full water vehicle roster has not been officially enumerated.
Aircraft
Helicopters
News helicopters are visible in at least one trailer sequence — hovering over a scene and consistent with the game's satirical treatment of media and surveillance culture. Whether player-pilotable helicopters return with the same breadth as GTA 5 (which had attack helicopters, civilian choppers, and cargo aircraft) has not been officially detailed beyond what is directly observable.
Fixed-Wing Aircraft
No fixed-wing aircraft are clearly shown in official trailer footage as of Trailer 2. GTA 5 featured a large roster of planes and jets. Given Leonida's scale and the presence of what appear to be airport or airfield structures in some shots, aircraft are expected — but Rockstar has not made specific announcements about the flight roster.
What the Trailers Tell Us About Vehicle Behaviour
Beyond individual vehicle types, Rockstar's trailers contain several observations about how vehicles function in GTA 6:
Wet surface handling. Trailer 2 shows rainfall and wet road surfaces with detailed reflections. While Rockstar has not officially described the handling model, the visible road surface conditions suggest environmental factors affect driving in a way GTA 5's weather system did not fully implement.
Damage modelling. Visible in collision sequences in the trailers, vehicle deformation appears more detailed than GTA 5. Panel damage, bodywork crumpling, and environmental wear on vehicles are all visible in official footage, though the full damage system has not been described by Rockstar.
Terrain-specific vehicle use. The trailers deliberately show different vehicle types in their natural terrain — airboats in swamps, jet skis on beaches, trucks on rural roads, sports cars in Vice City. This editorial choice in the trailer footage suggests Rockstar has designed vehicle classes to feel purposeful in specific regions of Leonida, rather than treating all vehicles as interchangeable across all terrain.
NPC vehicle behaviour. Traffic density and NPC driver behaviour in Vice City sequences appears more elaborate than GTA 5. NPCs in and around vehicles — recording incidents on phones, reacting to player activity — suggest a more integrated relationship between pedestrian and vehicle simulation.

What Rockstar Has Not Confirmed
Rockstar has not officially announced the full vehicle roster, individual vehicle names, or the total number of vehicles in GTA 6. The observations above are based strictly on what is visible in official footage. Several vehicle categories from GTA 5 — military vehicles, cargo planes, blimps, submarines, and bicycles — have not been confirmed or ruled out for GTA 6 as of the time of writing.
We will update this article as Rockstar releases further official information.
